New Voices

21 June at V&A Museum of Childhood, Bethnal Green: 12.00-18.30 – FREE!

New Voices

Each year Praxis Community Projects partners with the V&A Museum of Childhood to bring you the New Voices Festival. This free event celebrates London’s rich diversity, telling the story of migration and human rights through world music, story-telling and theatre.

Forming part of Refugee Week, Praxis and New Voices will be taking over the V&A Museum of Childhood to bring you live music from around the globe as well as interactive activities for all the family. A photographic exhibition developed by young refugees and Simona Aru – a world renowned photographer – will tell the story of the often dangerous journey young people have to make to find sanctuary within the UK.
